Palais Galliera City of Paris Fashion Museum pays tribute to Mariano Fortuny’s life and work with its latest exhibition, Fortuny, Un Espanol à Venise. This is the last exhibition in Palais Galliera’s Spanish Season which opened with “Balenciaga, l’œuvre au noir” at the Musée Bourdelle, followed by “Costumes espagnols, entre ombre et lumière” at the Maison de Victor Hugo.
Opened to the public during Paris Fashion Week, the exhibition will go on until January, 2018, and features a re-imagined Delphos by the Fortuny design lab, marking the return of the renowned pleating techniques invented by Mariano at the turn of the century.
