GIUDECCA shadow & limestone

sku: 5993 | Download Tearsheet

Originally designed by Mariano Fortuny in the 1920’s, Giudecca was named for the island on which he established his factory in 1921. A reflection of the confluence of opposites that define Venice – the city where land and sea, east and west, and art and commerce harmoniously engage – Giudecca is the positive and negative, right-side up and upside down of itself, blurring the lines of where things end and where they begin.
