Archipelago
Faded blue & silver
5960
ARCHIPELAGO maps the silhouettes of islands significant to the history of Fortuny onto fabric, a composition that acknowledges both individuality and interconnectedness through form rather than words. Scattered and irregular, the small-scale repeat creates movement through distribution rather than repetition alone, lending the fabric an expansive, landscape-like quality. The SEREÑUS version is printed on cotton with a refined hand suited to upholstery, drapery, and wall applications across residential and light contract projects. Its tonal palette — developed to evoke the seasonal skies of Venice — makes it a fabric that changes character with light and hour.
Part of the SEREÑUS collection, Fortuny's last of the first 100 years of production on the Giudecca, established 1921.

Invented in Venice. Made in Venice
Designed with the italian touch, from start to finish. Built on the grounds of an ancient convent, the inner workings of the factory remain secret 100 years later. Our founder's will holds that the techniques used to create the iconic fabrics were never to be revealed publicly.
FORTUNY’S METHODS ARE PASSED DOWN AMONG GENERATIONS OF ARTISTS WHO CONTINUE CREATING NEW WORK WITH THE TECHNIQUES AND MACHINES FROM OUR FOUNDING.
