Eledone
Flamingo sorbet & silvery gold
7016
Named after Eledone, a genus of small octopuses native to the Mediterranean, Eledone fuses the fine, cellular texture of octopus skin with the speckled particulate of Venetian terrazzo. Its dotted composition creates a layered, tactile surface in which biology and architecture converge to create a new kind of animal print. The pattern speaks to the depth and complexity of Venice's enduring craftsmanship and its continual dialogue with the sea.

Invented in Venice. Made in Venice
Designed with the italian touch, from start to finish. Built on the grounds of an ancient convent, the inner workings of the factory remain secret 100 years later. Our founder's will holds that the techniques used to create the iconic fabrics were never to be revealed publicly.
FORTUNY’S METHODS ARE PASSED DOWN AMONG GENERATIONS OF ARTISTS WHO CONTINUE CREATING NEW WORK WITH THE TECHNIQUES AND MACHINES FROM OUR FOUNDING.
