The ancient Greek Orpheus, or ORFEO, was much like Mariano Fortuny, with his seamless ability to move between artforms. A musician, a poet, a prophet, ORFEO’s contributions to the arts were legendary, even causing some Greek poets to proclaim that his music and singing could charm both flora and fauna into dance.
