Fortuny Palazzina 3
Venice · Giudecca Island

Fortuny Palazzina

Experience the universe of Fortuny brought to life in the former residence of Countess Elsie McNeil. Now a design and art embassy, the Palazzina hosts exclusive presentations and immersive installations — a living encounter with rare materials, collected masterworks, and the deeper logic of Venetian craft.

"Not a showroom. Not a residence. A private world of materials and memory."
Venice · Giudecca Island · Est. 1921

Venice Showroom

Located at the original historic factory established by Mariano Fortuny in 1921, where production of his fabrics continues to this day. Inspired by our founder's early theatrical roots, fabrics descend from the ceiling with a patented system — a dramatic theatre of material and light, quickly transforming the space to palette and scale for your interior project.

Open to design professionals and invited retail clients.

Fortuny Boutique

The Boutique

Overlooking the Giudecca Canal, our boutique carries a changing selection of handmade Fortuny products from the factory — fabrics, journals, cushions, throws, and rare books about Mariano Fortuny. Each visit offers a different encounter with the collection.

Fortuny Garden 4
Venice · Giudecca

Fortuny Garden

One of Venice's most quietly kept secrets — our private garden offers a rare refuge from the city. Available for corporate and private events by arrangement.

Fortuny Factory 2
Venice · Giudecca · Est. 1921

The Factory

Built on the grounds of an ancient convent, the Fortuny factory was established in 1921 by Mariano Fortuny and Henriette Negrin. The inner workings remain secret — by the will of our founder, the techniques that create these fabrics have never been publicly revealed. The factory remains accessible only to those who produce within its walls.

Public and private visits

cultural visits

Cultural visits to our headquarters are free of charge and offer a unique opportunity to experience Mariano Fortuny's enduring legacy. Available on the first and last Wednesday of every month, the tour includes visits to the Fortuny Palazzina, showroom, garden, and boutique. The factory, where our artisans continue to produce the world's most beautiful fabrics with the same secret process and machines as developed by our founder over a century ago, maintains Fortuny’s tradition of being accessible only to the factory’s production workers. Limited capacity; please get in touch with us for availability.

Educational visits

School visits are available for school groups studying art and humanities, architecture, design, and textile design from the first year of high school and above. Available in November, December, January, February, and March. To arrange the date of the visit, please contact us.
